About
SiteLens is a working demo of an iPhone field app for IFC building models.
What is real here:
- The model is a genuine IFC4 file (Riverside Apartments, Block B: 6 storeys, walls, windows, doors, stairs, spaces, property sets, quantities and materials).
- It is parsed with web-ifc and drawn with three.js, both open source. Tap any element to read its real IFC data.
- "Open your own IFC file" parses a file from your phone on the device. Very large files (hundreds of MB) need the server conversion step that the production app would use.

What is mocked: the project list and accounts, QR scanning, and issue syncing. Issues are stored only in this browser.
Production plan: native SwiftUI + RealityKit app, server-side IfcOpenShell conversion, offline packages per model.
